Hi, this is a nice start to the topic of recursion and iteration but I think your readers would benefit from a more thorough explanation of when and why one would reach for recursion. Saying that it simplifies the logic but providing an example that doesn't really simplify is not necessarily going to help your readers to distinguish between the two.
