Hey Jon, I think that the course would still help you get to grips with using Vue in a Laravel project. It also helps that Vue is now baked into Laravel setups so at least you won’t have to do anything out of the ordinary to get Vue working.

And yep, you’re probably right that my disclaimer wasn’t clear enough. I basically reached out to the team at Vue Mastery (as they look after the official Vue news podcast and have mentioned my work on there a few times). I’d used their free trial and thought it was really good, so I asked them if they’d be interested in me writing a review, to which they said yes and decided to set me up with an extended trial of their premium service so that I could adequately review. I guess I could have written the same amount in the original disclaimer but thought it would be boring and take away from the actual review…but seeing as you brought it up 😉
